  • Professional Development Grant

    The Professional Development Grant was established to aid individual members of the Atlanta Puppetry Guild to attend any training program that will enhance or further their knowledge and skills in the art of puppetry. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply. This scholarship may be applied for at any time during the calendar year, with funds being expended within 12 months of application date. Acceptance to training program must be established before payment.

    All applicants must be members of the Atlanta Puppetry Guild and Puppeteers of America.

  • Carol Daniel Memorial Scholarship

    This Scholarship is to honor Carol Daniel, founding member of the Atlanta Puppetry Guild, and all of her contributions to puppetry.

    The Carol Daniel Memorial Scholarship was established to support individuals who wish to attend a National Puppetry Festival of the Puppeteers of America who lack the financial means to do so otherwise.  Puppeteers, puppet makers, puppetry teaching artists/educators, and puppetry students 22 years old and older may apply.

    All applicants must be members of the Atlanta Puppetry Guild and Puppeteers of America.  Previous Carol Daniel Scholarship winners are not eligible for a second award.

  • Pegg Callahan Memorial Scholarship

    This Scholarship was to honor Pegg Callahan, founding member of the Atlanta Puppetry Guild, and all of her contributions to puppetry.

    The Pegg Callahan Memorial Scholarship was established to enable individual members of the Atlanta Puppetry Guild to attend a Southeast Regional Festival who lack the financial means to do so otherwise. Puppeteers, puppet makers, and puppetry students 18 years old and older could apply. Up to 4 scholarships would be awarded.
