It was our "almost annual" spaghetti dinner. The dinner was wonderful and the evening was mostly a social gathering of puppeteers - Greg Wallace, Lee Bryan, Barbara Goltz, Carol Daniel, Rosemary and Jim Glenn, Andy Bremer, Bill Price, Virginia Peterson, Tricia and Bob Berrett, and Kevin Pittman. We started out with a puppet trade, some of us came home with a lot more than we brought. Andy got lots of glitzy fabrics from Lee. Carol got a puppet stage from Lee, and she is still trying to figure out where to put it. We had a short business meeting. Kevin indicated that he has moved and is very busy, but if we give him enough information, he will continue to put out a quarterly newsletter. We talked about the upcoming national festival in St. Paul, and hope most of the members will be attending that in July 2007 at Concordia College. Members were notified of the deadlines to apply for festival performances and workshops. Unless a change is necessary, no dues will be due for members who have already paid for this year. A goal is to straighten out the e mail list, and actual roster of members. Kevin is to keep a master list in his computer. We had a show and tell with lots of great puppetry from various members. Respectfully submitted, Carol Daniel Secretary. -------------------------------- About the Atlanta Puppetry Guild -------------------------------- Chartered in 1974, the Atlanta Puppetry Guild is dedicated to bringing together artists, educators, librarians, hobbyists, professionals and everyday people who share an interest in the art of puppetry.
