Atlanta-based puppeteer, Lee Bryan or "That Puppet Guy" is a nationally recognized touring artist who combines live vocal characterizations and songs with innovative puppet designs for wholesome family entertainment. Constantly seeking to educate his audiences in the art of puppetry, Lee's original stories and clever adaptations of classic tales often incorporate multiple styles of puppets which are demonstrated in his very popular behind-the-scenes demonstration following each solo performance.
Lee is a two-time grant recipient of the prestigious Jim Henson Foundation for his solo productions of PINOCCHIO and SUITCASE CIRCUS. His professional film credits include work with the Muppets® on the feature film, The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. Recently, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences honored Lee with an Emmy® nomination for his work with Public Broadcasting on the award winning Spanish language series, SALSA! In addition, Lee's live solo performances are often featured at the internationally acclaimed Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta.
Professional puppetry affiliations include memberships with UNIMA, UNIMA-USA, Puppeteers of America, Inc. and the Atlanta Puppetry Guild.
